559 MMA is a concept in development. As of the date above, no event has been scheduled, no venue has been contracted, no fight card exists, and no tickets are for sale. Any reference on this site to a “first event” describes an intention, not a booking.
Regulatory status
Amateur mixed martial arts in California is regulated. Contests and bout cards must be approved before an event takes place, and marketing for amateur contests must clearly identify them as amateur contests. 559 MMA has not represented, and does not represent, that any event has been sanctioned or approved by the California Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Organization (CAMO) or any other body.
Any future event is subject to applicable regulatory approval.
Fighters
Fighters referenced on this site in aggregate — including any count of active licensed fighters in the Fresno/Clovis area — are an indication of the local talent pool only. They are not confirmed 559 MMA fighters, have not been offered bouts, and are not affiliated with 559 MMA by virtue of being counted. Joining the fighter interest list is not an offer of a bout and does not guarantee placement on any card.
Sponsorship
Sponsorship benefits described on this site are indicative of what a future 559 MMA event could offer. They are not a current offer, quote, or binding agreement. Packages and pricing will be finalized only once a venue and event are confirmed.
